Eleanor H. Reich

Journalism, for me, is about more than reporting — it's about the belief that storytelling can spark change. I work with the Associated Press, where I began as an intern in the Jerusalem Bureau and now continue part-time from New York, contributing to coverage of the Israel-Hamas war and Israeli politics more broadly. During my internship, I earned bylines on legal reform and gender justice — topics I also explored while reporting for Haaretz.

I hold a M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University, where I trained in both print and audio journalism. I'm now pursuing a second Master’s in International Affairs at Columbia, concentrating in Human Rights and Gender and Public Policy — to grow as a researcher and build the policy fluency that helps me report with greater depth and global perspective.
